We are committed to loving people, sharing the good news of the Gospel and equipping believers for good works.

God is love and we believe the world needs love. Each day we strive to live in submission to Jesus Christ by fulfilling God’s call for us to the love the Lord with all our heart with all of our mind, and to love our neighbors as we love ourselves.

At Morning Star we are committed to sharing the good news of the Gospel so that others can receive the life changing power that comes from acknowledging Jesus Christ as savior and Lord.

Jesus’ end game was to make disciples of all nations. At Morning Star, we are intentional about building up the body of Christ through the Word of God, for the work of ministry. We want you to be equipped, which simply means we want to supply what is lacking and mend what is broken.

Pastor Emeritus

Pastor Danny Hubbard faithfully served as the Senior Pastor Of Morning Star for 29 years, retiring in September 2017.

Sher A. Garnett

Office Administrator

Sister Sher is responsible for maintaining the church office and serves as Pastor Miller’s administrative assistant.

Pastor Michael Hubbard

Ministry Director

Pastor Michael is responsible for providing guidance, support and leadership to the church’s ministry leaders.

Pastor Theodore Terry

Outreach Director

Pastor Terry oversees Morning Star’s community outreach programs and service efforts.

Tereyowna Martin

Office Manager

Sis. Tereyowna is responsible for handling day to day tasks necessary for managing the office here at MSMBC.

Minnie Myles

Finance Team

Sis. Minnie is responsible for managing the church bookkeeping, accounting, tax, and other financial services.The Finance Team manages the church income and distribution of church assets with integrity and confidentiality.
